Celebrating Success: A Recap of Our Company Meeting
Last week, 4 Your Car Connection hosted a company meeting that was filled with productive discussions, celebrations, and heartfelt moments. We took the time to recognize the dedication and hard work of our employees, as well as commemorate a significant achievement for our dealership.
One of the highlights of the meeting was celebrating the work anniversaries of our employees from the last quarter. To add some excitement to the celebrations, we had them spin the money wheel! They won the number they landed on by $10. It was a fun and interactive way to acknowledge their years of service and dedication to 4 Your Car Connection.
This year marked a significant milestone for our owner, Scott, who celebrated an incredible 22 years of business. Alongside Scott, we celebrated Tyler Buchanan for 19 years, Aaron Weeter for 9 years, Butch Fair for 2 years, and Mike Eck for 1 year of dedicated service to our dealership. We're incredibly grateful for their hard work and commitment to excellence.
In addition to honoring our employees, we had the privilege of presenting Scott with a special plaque. This plaque was dedicated by our staff in recognition of 4 Your Car Connection being awarded the Venango County Chamber's Business of the Year earlier this year. It was a proud moment for all of us to see Scott's hard work and leadership being recognized on such a prestigious platform.
During the meeting, Rodney, our facility manager, took the opportunity to highlight Scott's remarkable journey in building and expanding our dealership. From its humble beginnings, Scott has transformed 4 Your Car Connection into a thriving business that has become a beloved staple in the Cranberry area. His dedication, vision, and commitment to excellence have been instrumental in our success, and we're incredibly grateful to have him leading our team.
As we reflect on our meeting, we're reminded of the importance of celebrating milestones and achievements, both big and small. It's moments like these that strengthen our bond as a team and inspire us to continue striving for excellence in everything we do.
Congratulations to Scott and the entire 4 Your Car Connection team for their outstanding achievements. Here's to many more successes and milestones in the future!

2023 Venango County Chamber Business of the Year
Celebrating Community, Teamwork, and Over Two Decades of Growth
Feb. 21, 2024, Published Feb. 27, 2024
Last week at the annual Venango Area Chamber of Commerce Dinner, the spotlight shone on those who go above and beyond to contribute to the community in significant ways. Among the honorees was 4 Your Car Connection, recognized as the 2023 Business of the Year. The evening was a testament to the company's commitment to its employees, customers, and the community. This commitment was personified by its humble owner, Scott Snow. Scott graciously accepted the award, attributing the success of 4 Your Car Connection to hard work and the unity of his dedicated team.
The Chamber presented a compelling video that showcased the essence of 4 Your Car Connection, featuring heartfelt testimonials from key figures within 4 Your Car Connection and the community. Sheri Weaver, Butch Fair, Corey Irwin, John Phillips II, Cliff Hovis, Eli Busch, and Frank Gill collectively conveyed the sentiment that 4 Your Car Connection is not just a business; it's a community-minded entity with a hard-working united team.
Sheri Weaver highlighted the various community events hosted and organized by 4 Your Car Connection, setting an example for other local businesses to follow suit.
Eli Busch's words echoed the appreciation embedded in the company's culture, stating, "Appreciation is the highest priority for the leadership of 4 Your Car Connection… It is a lifestyle."
Butch Fair, the service manager, shared his love for the inclusive atmosphere at 4 Your Car Connection, where every employee has a say in the decision-making process. He also outlined the ongoing project of building an additional service building to enhance their service department, demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement.
Frank Gill drew a thoughtful analogy, “If you think about the Wizard of Oz and the point where the wizard says ignore that man behind the curtain. He, [Scott Snow], doesn't want the attention to be on him. He wants the attention to be on who he feels are most important: his employees, his customers, and the community.”
This testament was reiterated in Scott’s speech. His address attributed the honor to his fellow workmates; over 50% of whom have been with the company for over five years, and almost 40% for over ten. He recognized the dedicated and experienced team in talking about their vital roles in caring for customers and the community.
He also explained that the journey of 4 Your Car Connection began with Rod Weidner hiring him right out of high school. The first location, of which not many know, was in Seneca. The business eventually transformed into the current thriving business, a pillar of the Cranberry community. Despite the challenges of the ever-changing market, Scott emphasized the company's commitment to offering a wide variety of vehicles and financing options to cater to all customers. 4 Your Car Connection now employs 23 staff members, has over 250 vehicles, offers all types of financing from in-house Buy Here Pay Here to traditional bank lending, has four buildings spread across multiple parcels of land, and offers sales, service, towing and rentals.
Scott shared two allegories that we have taken verbatim to share with you:
I hope that this doesn’t come over self edifying, but rather inspiring. I’m calling the first story, Hope for the Hopeless and the second, Never Forget.
Hope for the Hopeless
This kid came from a divorced family at 12 years old. I watched our home close to being foreclosed upon, watched both parent’s cars literally get repossessed, lived in section 8 apartments for several years, stood in line for food, milk, bread, and cheese, and had hand-me-down clothes. I only passed high school because of an extra credit paper extended to my teacher the day before graduation. Also, no dream of being accepted into any college. But in my senior year book, my future apparition reads to start a business of some sort. This… this is hope for the hopeless.
Never Forget
I want to reference this yellow sign here. [A large handmade sign sat at the focus of the ballroom, just beside the podium.] This sign was our very first sign at the dealership. This sign was first at the Seneca location and then moved to our current location across from the Cranberry Mall. I remember getting in my old piece of crap 1991 Chevy truck, four by four, five-speed, long-bed. I drove it to the lumber yard. I bought this 4x6 green board. I bought some yellow paint, bought some rollers, and went home to the basement and painted the sign. I called a gentleman who lived in Oil City who did stencil work and I got the sign lettered up. This sign is very important to me. It is now hanging in one of my garages. Everytime I walk in I see it. It is really imperative for us to know how and where we started, and to never forget the people who stood with us, currently stand with us, and walk with us in our current endeavors. I will never forget. Thank you, God Bless.
Scott's closing words encapsulated the company's ethos, "What 4YCC is, is a local business that cares for its customers, cares for the community, and wants to see other businesses grow, do well, and succeed."
The Venango Area Chamber of Commerce's recognition of 4 Your Car Connection as the Business of the Year is a testament to the company's enduring commitment to community, its exceptional team, and its unwavering dedication to providing quality service to both customers and the region.
